A lot of people have been asking me if I take any supplements in addition to working out & I do! Here's a list of what I take below..
Jay Cutlers Legend Pre workout I take this about 10 minutes before I start my workout & before my warm-up (5 minutes on the treadmill). This gives me an extra boost in the gym during my workout. Creatine A lot of people take Creatine after their workout which is FINE -- EVERYONE'S body is DIFFERENT! I personally think it works the best for me DURING my workout. I put it in my water and drink it during. Protein I take this after my workout for best results, but it's NOT always within 30 minutes. I know a lot of people say that it's crucial to take within 30 minutes after your workout, so if that's your preference, great. I am really lenient when It comes to things like this and I still see and feel great results in my body. I've tried many different proteins, but because of recent stomach issues, I'm looking into getting something very pure such as isopure. I'll update after I've tried it! Protein is a very important macronutrient. It helps curb hunger, build muscle, helps bones & brain function. |
