1. Not go to the gym, eat badly and not care.. or
2. You can fight it with everything you have & ..just.. go.. anyway..
It sounds pretty simple but it's actually very very complex. Picking #1 takes nothing right? You just say you don't want to go and that's it. #2 consists of a battle that goes on forever until you actually go & get it over with. Or you eat something else and you don't have the craving for something bad. The part we always forget is that with #2 we're CONSTANTLY rewarded.
As of lately, it's been a lot easier for me to stay motivated because my body is changing so much now that my reward is VISIBLE. I go to the gym and my body LOOKS different. I feel different, I want to FUEL my body with good food because I can SEE what it's doing for me. When I started out in the gym it was a lot harder because I couldn't see what any of it was doing for me. But what kept me going was my mentality to be better INSIDE -- I was rewarded right away with how I felt about my self esteem, etc. So often we forget that going to the gym and eating better really does actually make a difference in our lives.
In 2015 I've lost friends. I've lost people who just don't have the same interests as me anymore -- and i'm okay with that. If you want something bad enough, you'll stop at absolutely nothing to achieve it. THE TIME WILL GO BY ANYWAY. You can look back a year from now and wish you had started or JUST GO TODAY. Stop making excuses and just do it & I promise finding the motivation DOES get easier the closer you get to reaching your goals.
